Always My Favorite, especially at Christmas I'm not quite sure what was going on when the other reviewers were visiting this bakery, because this place has always provided me with a fantastic pastry able to delight everyone I was willing to share with. I visit Lincoln Bakery at least once per month to pick up cakes for birthdays and holidays and have seen some beautiful creations leaving their doors - most of them still warm, straight out of the oven. What's the fuss about? My new next door neighbor lived in Bellevue all her life and loves this bakery. She raved so much about it that I had to try it for myself. I don't think there's anything in particular to write home about. There is a good selection of cookies and the like, and they taste pretty good. The cakes, though, BLAH! I thought the icing was way too sweet and the cake was so dry that even I (who hates to drink milk) was running to get a tall glass to get rid of the awful taste. Wonderful Bakery This bakery has wonderful food at a reasonable price. Stop in and get a loaf of their homemade bread you will love it. Their selection of cakes and cookies is really nice too. The staff is really friendly and they are always willing to slip the little ones a cookie while you look around!
Window Dressing The Lincoln Bakery in Bellevue, Pennsylvania has beautiful-looking pasteries but looks can be deceiving. Although the cakes are beautifully decorated to the finest detail, the taste leaves much to be desired. The staff will usually leave a bad taste in your mouth as well. They are often short and rude to customers and they make customers feel like a bother.
