My Experance. I am getting married in aug of 2010 and i have looked everywhere you can think of for wedding cakes. the prices are to high and the quality is just horriable. taste and apperance. yukky. The first time i went in to lincoln bakery i thought the prices wer not that resonable but then the second time i went in and looked about after the holidays they where fine. Me and my hunny decided we wanted to get our wedding cake made there because the cake was so moist and well decorated. the icing was not to sweet or suger... read more

ABOVE AND BEYOND! On 2/17/10, I ordered a cake for one of my co-workers who is leaving for Army deployment on 2/19/10. Naturally, Lincoln Bakery needed a 48 hour advance. This order was unique because it was 1/2 a sheet cake, double-layered, with the US Army logo designed, by hand, in icing. When I got to work 2/17, I learned that my co-worker was being deployed a day early and his last vist to our office would be 2/18/10. I immediately called Lincoln Bakery and asked if the cake could be done within 24 hours. Given the spec... read more

Sweet Surprise in Bellevue I just recently had a chance to taste a birthday cake from Lincoln Bakery, and I have to say it was excellent. The cake was moist and the icing not too overpowering or sweet. Everyone raved about it and wanted to know the name of the bakery it came from. The appearance was beautiful. The writing and the abundance of roses were impressive.

A Matter of Taste Having enjoyed Lincoln Bakery for years, I suggested that my son and future daughter-in-law have a Wedding Cake tasting there. They spent the entire day taste-testing other bakeries in the Pittsburgh area. Of course they decided on Lincoln! The price was reasonable....the service was EXCELLENT....and the selection was more than they expected. On the wedding day, the CATERER (NOT Lincoln Bakers) mistakenly put the heavy cake topper on top of the cake. The 'first anniversary' layer was ruined! Even so, many, ... read more

yummy! Grew up in Bethel Park where Bethel Bakery is KING. They have the best best cakes in the world, but found Lincoln Bakery when I moved to the area. Their cake is not as good as Bethel, but their icing is comparable - that delicious buttercream...so good. They do also have an excellent cake decorator who is really an artist. Their cakes are not the standard floral and ugly writing type - the writing is gorgeous, the creativity is amazing. Got a diagonally cut rectangular cake for Father's Day that was decorated like a b... read more

No filling Recently bought a wedding cake at Lincoln Bakery, was very disappointed. Do not like icing so ordered the fresh strawberries for filling. There were only two strawberries a layer. Paid per piece for the filling, which I understand is a real bargain since I will be refunded a whopping .20 cents per person for 225 people ($45.00) to ruin the cake with no second chance to fix it. Don't even seem sorry. Would not recommend for your special day.

If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all First of all...Whoever says anything but nice things about Lincoln Bakery has no idea what they are talking about. I used to work there about 10 years ago..was a huge fan then and am even a bigger fan now of EVERYTHING! Everything they make is absolutely wonderful. I have turned on so many people on to them just by having their cakes and other pastries at my family gatherings. I have 2 little boys now and would think nothing else but getting their birthday cake... read more
