Crisco/dry cake. YUCK. Beautiful cake, but it has what I call "Crisco icing." There's a greasy, slick feeling on your tongue and roof of your mouth. Not totally pleasant. Also, the cake is so dry and crumbly. Either it was overbaked or frozen. You shouldn't have to "chase" down crumbs to be able to eat your cake. Thankfully, I didn't pay for this cake or I would have been disappointed. I will always go to either Paddy Cake or Oakmont Bakery. I have NEVER had anything but the BEST cakes from both of them. Even Giant Eagle cak... read more

Wonderful Bakery This bakery has wonderful food at a reasonable price. Stop in and get a loaf of their homemade bread you will love it. Their selection of cakes and cookies is really nice too. The staff is really friendly and they are always willing to slip the little ones a cookie while you look around!

1st Year Anniversary We got married May 12, 2007, I never heard of your bakery but as one of our gifts, our Matron of Honor bought our cake, When I say at the wedding we only had the piece that you share with your spouse, thats all. But one year we took that cake out the freezer and I just knew it would be freezer burnt and nasty, that was the most moist and delicious tasting cake we ever had, keep up the good work, Thank you making our day and 1st anniversary awesome

I am getting married in aug of 2010 and i have looked everywhere you can think of for wedding cakes. the prices are to high and the quality is just horriable. taste and apperance. yukky. Always My Favorite, especially at Christmas I'm not quite sure what was going on when the other reviewers were visiting this bakery, because this place has always provided me with a fantastic pastry able to delight everyone I was willing to share with. I visit Lincoln Bakery at least once per month to pick up cakes for birthdays and holidays and have seen some beautiful creations leaving their doors - most of them still warm, straight out of the oven. Their decorators must be required to take Calligraphy classes before start... read more

Cookies/crumb cake Both are seriously dry and gross! Bad service too. They also have a weird texture. The cake had a "bread" texture and the cookies were just hard.

No filling Recently bought a wedding cake at Lincoln Bakery, was very disappointed. Do not like icing so ordered the fresh strawberries for filling. There were only two strawberries a layer. Paid per piece for the filling, which I understand is a real bargain since I will be refunded a whopping .20 cents per person for 225 people ($45.00) to ruin the cake with no second chance to fix it. Don't even seem sorry. Would not recommend for your special day.

yummy! Grew up in Bethel Park where Bethel Bakery is KING. They have the best best cakes in the world, but found Lincoln Bakery when I moved to the area. Their cake is not as good as Bethel, but their icing is comparable - that delicious buttercream...so good. They do also have an excellent cake decorator who is really an artist. Their cakes are not the standard floral and ugly writing type - the writing is gorgeous, the creativity is amazing. Got a diagonally cut rectangular cake for Father's Day that was decorated like a b... read more

If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all First of all...Whoever says anything but nice things about Lincoln Bakery has no idea what they are talking about. I used to work there about 10 years ago..was a huge fan then and am even a bigger fan now of EVERYTHING! Everything they make is absolutely wonderful. I have turned on so many people on to them just by having their cakes and other pastries at my family gatherings. I have 2 little boys now and would think nothing else but getting their birthday cake... read more
