Used to be better! – I think this place had a ton of potential, but they've gotten to big. Service is great...if you have a problem (which I had several with the quality of the food), they do their best to accomodate you...

Great food – I could eat the taco salad everyday. There is a reason that this place has a line everyday. It is great mexican food.
Why this place is so busy escapes me.... – We got take out from here - What a mistake! Out of the 3 tacos ordered two had the wrong filling, but this was not the bad part- the worst was that they pourred so many watery chopped tomatoes all over they were just a soggy mess. The tortillas,where completely drenched and disintegrated. The quesadilla we ordered was almost cheeseless. The tacos came without guacamole or sour cream. In all the food was a mess, trhowing money out the window.
Mediocre at best – I was not impressed. That said the food is good if you do not expect too much. I went here after hearing people gush about it for weeks. It is not a restaurant, more like a nicer fast food joint; and the "fully stocked bar" that the editorial reviewer mentions does not exist. Great Burritos! – There is a reason there is always a line around the corner to LIme! It is good food! With about 30 topping sauces to choose from, everything is freshly made and you can taste that as soon as you bit into your burrito! It is not greasy like other Mexican Tex/Mex places on the beach.
Local says:this is what South Beach has lacked – I've been waiting for a great Mexican food restaurant to open in South Beach for over 5 years, and Lime delivers. The tacos and burritos are unique and taste fantastic. Since this place opened I have not had Mexican food from any other restaurant, nor would I want to. I'm here at least once a week (and no I don't work or know anyone from this restaurant).
