I had nothing but good things to say about LightRx up until this past year. Recently they have fallen off the grid and no longer answer phone calls or allow for new appointments. I just paid a very large amount of money for treatment to my bikini area and had 3/10 sessions. It WAS working but I only got 30% of what I paid for.
I have been a customer since early 2017. They informed me in the 4th quarter of 2018 they are closing the location in Albany, NY and would arrange a refund. I called them numerous time from November 2018 till January 2019. They called me back on January 24, 2019 and promised a refund of $312.50 to my credit card account in 30 days, February 25, 2019. They have not reimbursed me and it’s March 13, 2019 now. They deceived, and swindled their customers of their money. Please don’t give your money away.
LightRx sold me a large package and then shut down later that week without telling us. I have requested a refund and they said 30-60 days. I follow up weekly without any response. It's been four months and no refund. Clearly from these reviews they don't have good customer service or solid company financials.
I went to Light RX in Bountiful, UT. It started out okay, then they closed there location with no notice and no one will call me back about a refund cause i paid up front and never got to finish my treatment and i have a 1000.00 dollar gift card that is useless because there in not another one in the state of UT.
They have not refunded me my $1,050 and it’s been over two months! I am filing a complaint and will continue to contact them until I get my refund! If I don’t hear back from them, I will pursue with legal matters!
I go to the Louisville location. They cancelled my appointment a few weeks ago for a broken laser and rescheduled my appt to today, which was also cancelled. They said someone had a family emergency and would not be able to treat me today. I called customer service this morning to complain, they told me that all LightRx locations nationwide were closed today. Something fishy is definitely going on and they are not being honest with their customers!
Wish I had read reviews before getting a package thru them. The location near me closed after I had only 3 treatments. They told me someone would contact me about a refund, but never did. I finally got them to refund most of the unused package through the health credit card I used (the credit card company filed a dispute with LightRx, which I'm thinking is the only reason they refunded anything), but not all of it, so I've been calling and emailing to get the rest, to no avail. Terrible customer service. They don't answer the phone and do not call customers back. They cancelled my first appointment for a broken laser and would not return my calls.
I wish I could leave a half of star, but I can't. I've been a excellent customer over the past few years. But I should've known something was wrong. This company has changed names so many times. And as of 2/12/19 the Columbus, Oh location has closed without warning or notice! I am stuck with untreated areas on my body and a credit card I have through this company, with a balance for services that are uncompleted.
