RecommendedWe moved in on July 21st and Susy made it extremely easy for us! Everything in the house was ready to go, it was clean and we couldn't have asked for a better location and house! We found a few minor issues (dead battery in garage door opener, burnt out exterior light bulb) and Maintenance was there within 24 hours and the issues were corrected! Susy was amazing and continues to be amazing!
Lincoln Military Housing in VA Beach is the most unprofessional military housing office we have used throughout the last 18 years. From double booking us and another military family in a house (and also never notifying us so we lost out on money spent for moving), to now refusing to do their job and stop taking our BAH. RecommendedI would definitely recommend living in this community. My husband and I were offered a unit in a different community and there was a problem with the unit and they had no more available for a month or two. We didn’t know where else to go and our apartment would let us live there for another month. We panicked until we got in touch with Allie at Norfolk crossing office. The worst housing I have lived in. Management is unprofessional. They do not seem to care about anything that goes on in housing. They do not handle maintenance request in a timely manner. When I moved into my house it was filthy. I had to call several times to receive trash bins because they were never provided before I moved in. I had to make several calls to get a window fixed that I noticed was broken upon moving in. There is constant trash in the front yard and in the backyard. RecommendedThe community is beautiful and the people are friendly. Office staff and maintenance are great and respond promptly to issues you might have.
I appreciate the efforts made here with the community get togethers, cook outs, etc. but I feel far from safe here. Our car has been messed with and vandalized 3x since March. Once being last night when they tried to pry open our car door, got into 1 other car and vandalized 2 other vehicles on our street. Then multiple other reports were made from other residents from a different section of the community. Our house has been broken into twice now with personal property stolen. RecommendedJust wanted to give Julia and Susy a shoutout! We just moved from NC to San Diego and they made the whole transition easy. The house is newly remodeled and love it. We had a few maintenance issues that needed to be attended to outside and the staff were all so nice! Thanks y'all :)
