Best Spa in NYC – Visiting Lia Schorr is like taking a mini vacation in NYC. You are greeted with a warm smile as soon as you enter. The staff is professional, friendly and accommodating. A few of my favorite treatments include: facials/seaweed, crystal peels, eyelash tinting and collagen. You leave this spa looking and feeling like you've really been on vacation!!

Customer Service is HORRIBLE! – I sent my finacee there for his birthday. I arranged for him to have a special package that included a hot stone massage, facial and a parrafin manicure for $110. When he got there he was asked to help change a light bulb, he didn't mind at the time but even after with helping out they were rude to him. During the facial the woman was in & out of the room, The hot stone massage was enjoyable, but the manicure he felt was rushed & they didn't even give him the paraffin! Also, they tricked him i... read more

Don't bother – This place is the pits. The woman who gave me a facial tried to hard sell me products (the worst!), the massage therapist was sweet but the room was the size of a small NYC bathroom and the manicurist was totally so-so. Don't be lured in by the price - it's not at all relaxing. The place has florescent lights and is not a spa by any stretch of the imagination.

Feel good, everyday! – While working and living in this crazy city, I find it an absolute necessity to take good care of myself. I found the greatest place to do just that. Lia Schorr has become my oasis for feeling good and looking good. The services there are top top! but my favorite of all is the HOT Rock MASSAGE and I can not live without one a week! I also get the nicest bikini and leg wax I have ever had. The special packages that Lia offers affords me the privilege of being able to treat myself weekly to massage and f... read more

The Best Skin Care in New York – The professional staff at Lia Schorr has been taking care of my skin since the mid-90's. One can always be assured of state-of-the-art skin care. The level of service, professionalism, and products is just outstanding. It's reliable, down to earth, and I wouldn't think of giong anywhere else.

sucks – I received a gift package so I went with a friend, the hot stone massage was terrific but the facial (they just slobber some facial mask on your face), manicure/pedicure were NOT! Only a few of the staff members are friendly, the rest are rude and spend their time chatting and gossiping. Not worth going even if the price is a steal. I would rather pay the same price for one service as opposed to 5.

Best Brazilian Yet!! – I've never had such great Brazilian before and I've been getting them for years now! Toni is thurough and a perfectionist. She's also really swift, and the pain level is quite low (of course that also depends on your experience). And it is so affordable - around $30 or get 6 for $170ish. Don't forget to tip well! :D

Mini vacation in the city – My husband and I have used Lia Schorr's wonderful day spa for over eight years. The staff is attentive and treat us like family. We both enjoy their facials and massages on a regular basis. The seaweed wrap and body scrub leaves your skin soft and glowing. The facial, with glycolic, ionic for the eyes and seaweed mask keeps me looking ten years younger. We recommend following it with the oxygen treatment a week or two later. My husband loves the hot stone massage. He goes more often then I do. The... read more

Best Bikini Wax Ever!! – I have been on what I thought was the never ending search for the best bikni wax. Well I found it a Lia Schoor. Not only were they professional, but expreienced. They use the best wax available and, thought I have been a "shaver", and have a low pain threshold, I will say that it was nearly pain free and it didn't take all day. I have been to more places that I can count on one hand and all I can say is don't waste your time like I did, try Lia Schorr. And lets be real here, everyone know that you ge... read more
