This is the worst spa in New York – Do not waste your time and money. This place was not relaxing at all! Lia Schorr is very very rude and unappreciative. She hurried my friend and I out of the spa and didn't even say thank you. The massage was okay but the massage room was bare and cold and through the paper-thin walls I could hear two other therapists chatting about someone else. I was more stressed out after the vist than before.

Skip It! – Lia doesn't believe in appts. so the feel of this place is more "beauty service chop shop" than relaxing. My facial took 1.5 hours - not because it was thorough, but because the facialist was working on 3 clients at once! She was actually with me for only about 15 minutes. When I questioned my service, the facialist said "I do whatever Lia tells me" Apparently the staff are indentured servants! And the manicure was appalling. Didn't clean under my nails, no hand massage, polish was slapped on. Could it be because ... read more

Don't waste your time going! – I had two treatments and I felt like I was in the room under the steam by myself more than with someone performing the treatments. Then when someone actually came back in the room, I felt like she was rushing to go to the next client. I did not feel that she did anything on me. In addition, Lia was rude to me as soon as I told her I was not interested in any of the extras. I've had better facials in Atlanta!

Not worth the trip! – Never again! The staff was welcoming but the owner was unbelieveably rude. The receptionist area was clean but, the treatment area is way overdue for renovations. It was like one of those apartments that have been neglected with cracked, walls, peeling linolium floors and old files hanging out of pink cabinets. How do I face the world? – Go to Lia Schorr's Skin Care Salon on Lexington Ave. right off 57th Street. You will be nurtured and you're skin will be taken care of by experts. I had a problem with acne when I started going to Lia Schorr's for facials. The facials are wonderful, a good cleansing, an excellent massage, and some fabulous masks. A Day of Beauty – My experience at the Lia Schorr Day Spa was one that I'll never forget. I felt absolutely swept away in a sea of relaxation. The highly skilled practitioners administered their services with exceptional professionalism. I was completely satisfied with the results of my facial, manicure, and body massage. The owner, Lia Schorr, greeted me warmly and ignited great expectations. My expectations were met and I highly recommend the Lia Schorr Day Spa experience.

leg waxing – excellent service and experienced staff. I made an appointment for brow and lip wax and was not disappointed at all. I felt pleased at the after treatment done by tatiana who was attentive all the way. My aftertreatment included calamine and seaweed mask for soothing and calming. That was the best lip and brow wax I have ever had and hence my reason for giving this editorial.

Pamper me with Oxygen – I've never had an Oxygen Treatment. Was I in for an treat! Misting and minerals and vitamins. A mist of vitamins. It's like food for your skin. I thank Lia Schorr because, when I got home my husband thought I looked 10 years younger. Everyone should try it. Your face deserves it.
