Reality check needed if you want to shop here I contacted the Lia of Albany dealership after encountering problems with their sister dealership in Enfield, CT in buying a leftover 2013 Hyundai that the Albany store had on their lot. HOWEVER, i was talked into buying a maintenance plan for an extra monthly payment which would take care of all my routine maintenance. My son was looking to buy a used car with bad credit, he knew he would have a high interest rate and he had 4,000 to put down on a 11,000 dollar used car. From the moment you pull up and the service area doors open so you can get things started in the warm and friendly indoors (really nice in our upstate NY windy winters) you are treated as a valued customer. I used a car buying service through my bank and was not shown anything out of my price range. I was even able to negotiate a reduced price for the optional pre-payment of services and clear coating for my car. I went to Lia Hyundai to purchase a 2011 Sonata and to take advantage of the .9% financing. My salesman, Jason Cosmo, was very helpful in showing me what was available. The only problem that we had was finding a basic Sonata(without all the "bells and whistles") that was available in silver for immediate delivery.
