Bought glasses in lenscrafters (******************** mall) in May and suddenly the frame broke while in the case. Brought it in store and was told that I have to file a claim thru oakley when the website says I have to go to the retailer first. Made a claim on the website but was rejected as they said it was not due to a defect. Glasses was not used or broken due to my fault. Suddenly broke while just in the case stored. This is bad customer service from both ******************** and also oakley/luxoticas website

A total rip off of the Lenscrafter name. I bought a pair of glasses and two weeks later I was simple wading in the ocean when one lens fell out. I was unable to find the lens so the glasses are obviously useless. Tried to file a claim and they said to give it 48 hours to get a response. It's been four days and nothing. I ordered a pair of Oakley Sunglasses with my prescription a couple weeks ago. This was my first time ordering. I saw all the terrible reviews and was worried about my purchase. Got three separate ray ban gift cards for fathers day. Can only use one on website. Ray ban said they need to combine the three into one giftcard. On June 23rd they said three to five business days, then seven to ten business days now I got an email and they said possible three weeks. Lost confidence in the brand. Been waiting to get back the 150 dollars they took from me. I am disappointed in the brand. Something needs to be done. Waiting for this to be resolved.

I purchased my prescription eyeglasses with designer frames at my local eye care office. The side arm/temple of the frame broke in half within 4 weeks of the warranty expiration ( 2 years from date of purchase). The eyecare office said I needed to contact Luxottica for repair but it was noted there appeared to be a defect in the arm of the frames and not just a missing s**** etc. I opened a claim with Luxottica and they promptly/quickly denied it as it was "past the warranty". I have purchased multiple pairs of Ray-Ban sunglasses and at one point they did let you sent the glasses in for repair. Now you need to order parts. I mistakenly ordered "non-polarized". I have tried for 3 weeks to just get a response from this company. There is no way to speak to a human. All I want to do is an EXCHANGE for the polarized lenses. Me and my wife ordered glasses from this company. Not a single one has been the correct prescription. Even after my wife complained and sent back the classes and had to wait mths for her benefits to reset before she can use them again.. Then again still the wrong script causing her headaches and this time there is no way to have her benefits before coverage ends. In my option all medical insurance need to investigate this company and pull their insurance coverage for their poorly made products
