Never again – I've used several movers in Philadelphia and most have been ok. In my experience hiring movers is always a bit of a gamble. But my experience with this company was so bad that I have to help people avoid this nightmare. I called and booked with "Willy".. I had a ONE bedroom apartment and we were moving into a house. Hi, I don't know who wrote this review. But it is bogus. First off, it's insane to say that moving company would take 8 hours to move a one bedroom apartment. The recipe to come up with estimates are the same for every job. All estimates are based on items that are listed. Some customers believe that by giving a smaller list will give them a lesser cost. Realestate agents for lenora"s – With my job it is very important to choose a good mover. These guys have been moving my customers for years, and let me tell you. I have read all the other comments about these guys, they are the best movers i have ever use in my 17 year in the business. alot of companies get bad remarks in the summer. These guy move about 15 people a day so in 5 years in business they only have 2 to 3 bad comments out of about 5000 moves a year? lol these guys rock! yes dont be fooled!
Lenora's Movers made my move a nightmare – Maybe these guys used to be good in the past, but they are terrible now. Read the recent terrible reviews here and read those who have had similar experiences at Insider Pages (google for it) and BEWARE. Unfortunately, I know which customer this is. When he scheduled the move, his exact words with regards to packing were " All I need the guys to pack is my kitchen". Which is why when the crew arrived they had dish pack boxes and just standard count of the other boxes. I spoke with this customer after my crew notified me that he didn't have anything packed. don't use these guys – I've moved three times since living in philly and this was my worst experience by far. here's how it went down: 1 - they were 20 minutes late 2 - about an hour into moving us out, they said the cops were telling them to move their truck. they asked where they could park. sorry, i don't know where you can legally park a 20 foot van on the street... 3 - after driving around for 30 mins, they got back to moving. 4 - we had to HELP because the cops only agreed to let them stay for 30 minutes. 5 - they brok... read more

My response to this is: 1. Our crews are scheduled between 9 & 10am. So 20 minutes isn't late. 2. Customers are responsible for planning on truck parking. We will double park if needed but parking isn't our responsibility. 3. Have you ever tried going around a block in center city. 4.Refer to number 2. 5. Don't trust fine furniture with these company. – Regretably I chose this company. I have a household of fine furniture and antiques; I do not put junk in my house. Although the crew chief was generally good, he stayed on the truck and therefore could not see how rest of the crew moved stuff out of the old house and into the new house without proper care; like walking too quickly and bumped into walls and corners, causing wall marks and dents in furniture. Best ones in Town – my sister used them last week and my movers i book canceled my move until the next day. Lenora's was able to come get me and move me same day. I just new that a moving company would charge me more but i call from diffrent lines and my rate was the same for same day and two week out. And i used a coupon WOW....
New York to Philly – I had to move from New York to Philadelphia and call Lenora's office They gave me the best rate
Great Movers – last time i moved everything else was in the add on cost for moving ... with Lenora's they were clear with me and let me know what was and was not in my rate. Thank you .. will use again
fast when they finally arrived – They moved my large studio apartment full of stuff long distance (4 hours away). The crew who moved me were all nice guys, were fast and were careful with my stuff. The big complaint is that they were two hours' late, and the woman I spoke with at the office never seemed to know what was going on. The crew had no idea that I had updated the destination address, nor did they know how far away it was.
