Worst mover in my life – I saw lots of good reviews for this company , "Lenora" in the web, therefore, I hired them recently for my move. Now, I understood, all those good reviews in the web for lenora's might be written by their own people. They are good at talking but not in duty. In my case, they were late and also unprofessional, especially two (looked like kids, probably below 18 years) of them did not know what they were doing in the three people group. All I can say is wow – I called Lenoras for a long distance move to D.C.. Although the coordinator ( Alex ) was very helpful and informative, I got a little scared after reading some of the reviews and backed away from them. My mother on the other hand used them because they were available for her date. I warned her about the reviews and she went anyway. Best Movers For Reals – I moved from Philly to New York recently and was worried after reading all the bad reviews. But they were the lowest priced, and moving to NYC I needed to save money before I go for broke. Howard and Vaughn showed up (on time!) and were prepared and professional from second one. Yes, they had all things needed to move (not sure of the names but they had wheels). They put drop cloths down in my apt to avoid getting the carpet dirty. WORST MOVERS EVER – I know moving is no fun to begin with but Lenora's was painfully slow. It took them 8 hours to load and unload a 2 bedroom house. After the 8 hours were up they decided they were going to charge me $50 per half hour because they had gone over the estimated time. Well, maybe if they weren't on their phones talking/texting and going to the grocery store to get a snack they would have finished in the estimated time. The Best Movers In Town – I am a mother of two and expecting 1 more with not alot of money to spare. Needing to move to a bigger home Lenora's Moving Co. was there to help with the best guys working for them. They showed up on time got the job done within a reasonable time manner, then I forgot I had storage in another unit that would not fit into the house and they so kindly offered to move that stuff as well without additional charge to me. Never use these fuckups! – Part 1 of 2 Gosh where should I begin.... On Saturday, I received a call from a person to confirm the move for Monday between 9AM and 12PM. Unfortunately, I was in the middle of something I asked if he could call back in 30 minutes. An hour had gone by so I called them back but they were closed (wtf?).
