THE STORY OF LENNY’S: Family Owned and Operated for over 40 Years ​My father, Joseph DeCandia, was born in Bari, Italy and came to America in 1956 at the age of 18. He took odd jobs as a dishwasher, a baker and a butcher. In 1958 he took a job at “Lenny’s Pizza” in Brooklyn on 86th Street where he started to learn the pizza business. Lenny’s never disappoints! This is my families go-to and we always leave happy. The staff are super friendly and attentive. Love the oysters and baked clams!

Calamari was Chewy and Tough, Veal parm was sent back waaay overcooked, mashed potatoes looked like they were pumped out of a ice cream machine. Baked clams were excellent but overall I was Very disappointed in the food compared to what it was in the 80s. Our waitress was very very Accommodating and our service was great but we will not be back.

Great food great service, a new must stop when overnighting in JFK.
