THE STORY OF LENNY’S: Family Owned and Operated for over 40 Years ​My father, Joseph DeCandia, was born in Bari, Italy and came to America in 1956 at the age of 18. He took odd jobs as a dishwasher, a baker and a butcher. In 1958 he took a job at “Lenny’s Pizza” in Brooklyn on 86th Street where he started to learn the pizza business. Beautiful place and the food so delicious
Locals hangout with a varied menu of seafood, Italian and meats. great family ambiance with friendly and attentive service. Had the New England Clam Chowder and the Seafood Marinara and they were both delicious.
