Well if your child is emitted into the hospital have a wristband so they don't have to go down every day and get a visitors wristband just like they do with the newborns. An if the parent is in a wheelchair then u should put them in a handicap room with their child if the child is being admitted. Because the furniture that you have in the room for us to sleep on is horrible they sit too low and you not able to get out of them a bed would be nice so you wouldn't have to sleep in your wheelchair the whole time that your child ... read more
The staff was very helpful and the and the neurologist I saw, Dr Alissa Romano was terrific in understanding what was going on with my body which has had many issues since I suffer from Chronic Lyme Disease. She also could see the toll the illness was taking on my mental state. She made me feel at ease and that she genuinely cared about helping me. I would highly recommend this hospital and Dr Romano.
I really didn't have much choice but to go here as it's the local trauma center and I lost consciousness due to a severe motor vehicle accident. I broke my arm and had microfractures in my spine. All of the medical professionals were knowledgeable, kind, and professional. I have no intention of ever getting banged up so badly that I'll need to be there again but am glad the area has such an outstanding trauma unit.
