This company is equivalent to a "child molester" of businesses. My car was towed from right out in front of my single dwelling house on a private street, in a secluded neighborhood (I parked drivers side to the curb). There is no signage about parking on the street, and I should comfortably be able to park in front of my house without companies like this stealing from honest hard working families.

Ridiculous Behavior! My car was towed at 10:30pm from the Art Space lot (500 W 200S) on a Saturday night by Legacy towing. As you might guess this was clearly after hours and I fail to see how my car did any harm there for the 2 hours I intended to be in the area. For their troubles, Legacy billed me an outrageous $304. This included a $75 dollar fee for towing my car outside business hours, a legal profiteering loophole...no wonder the love towing cars when they aren't doing any harm to businesses. Legacy Towing Scam!!! We were also a victim of Legacy Towing. What a joke! I think these people should be put in jail. We parked in the parking lot on 3300 S. State St. After the towing company's business hours (8:00 am - 5:00 pm). We went to test drive a car from a lot next door to the Red Ginger then we were going to eat at Subway, which is one of the businesses in this parking lot. Dishonest, unhelpful company – Let me first say that I believe towing companies are necessary and an important business in our society, and if people blatantly are parked in places they shouldn't be, should be towed. That being said, these guys are very dishonest and are extortioners. We had an issue where we were parked legally at my apartment, and they came and towed the car because they didn't recognize the vehicle. Scam..taking this company to court, please contact me! – 3300 S State St. Drove in and saw a group of terrible looking men around the lamp post that had a sign they were hiding....WOW! SCAM! 3 others were scammed at the same time. Please email me actionj10@hotmail Dispatcher was laughing as I called to see who stole my car. We called the police and they advised us to press charges. Legacy Towing Scam! – I was also a victim of this towing company tonight. I arrived had to park in the coffee shop parking area since all of Red Gingers parking was full. The coffee shop was closed for the day and I've never had a problem the dozens of other times I've parked there to go and dine on amazing sushi. They towed my car at 6:50pm and I learned that their hours of operation are from 8am to 5pm. So they're obviously poaching peoples cars to rake in ridiculous charges on a perfectly legal park. Watch Where You Park!! – Indeed Legacy Towing is a scam!! I can't even imagine how much money they make a night! My daughter and her husband were eating dinner at The Red Ginger and came out to find their car gone. They weren't alone! I'm amazed that Legacy Towing's unscrupulous business practices have not attracted media attention. I wish a rating wasn't required because they don't deserve one!

Absolute scam!! Everyone beware of Schafer Magan and Corey Schaefer at Legacy Towing in Murray!! On February 4th 2012 my wife and parked at a lot on 3300 South State Street in South Salt Lake City. My wife went into the shops and I ran over to grab us some food at a Chinese Food Place adjacent. We weren't gone from our car 20 minutes and it was gone. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!!!!!!! – This place is a complete JOKE!!! The KIDS that work there are unprofessional and little punks. My friend and I got our vehicle towed last night while we were in a resteraunt that just so happens to be not included in 33rd st station.
