Excellent health care system except for a few serious bugs...it seems because of the systems "on-call" agreement with area specialists you must see the on-call Dr. for that week for a follow up EVEN IF THEY ARE OUT OF YOUR INSURANCE COVERAGE NETWORK. An in-network practice will not even see you until after the initial follow up appointment. So make sure any on-call specialists you see in Lee Health hospitals are in-network if you are not already seeing someone in that specialty...
Best hospital in town if I get sick I want to go there.
Lee Memorial Health System has the most outstanding hospitals especially Lee Health Park Cardiac Care on the 5th floor! We thank everyone who did their part to save my husband and make him feel safe and comfortable. I was blessed to see the amazing dedication of the Doctors and Nurses. They truly are special in our hearts and we are very grateful for your service! God has blessed you all with the gift of saving lives and caring for people in need! Thank You All. Life is Good! ❤️

Pre op and post op workers were outstanding. Made surgery much easier to deal with. Wish I could remember their names.
