The physicians and staff in the ED are very kind and caring.
The place was a joke !! I had a open wound and the nurse walked me to the pharmacy and was sending me on my way , WITH A OPEN WOUND!! I asked if she was going to bandage my wound she said oh sure if you like I can. I don't know if I'm comfortable with it being my idea to do her job I mean I'm not a nurse what else did she miss

No sugared drinks available on 3rd floor, all diet soda. You can only get coke products upon special request with food services (see fine print on menu.) Also, there is no freshly brewed coffee in the wait area for surgery, just instant and Sanka (seriously!?) As a patient, I also saw no sign of fresh coffee anywhere! The second and last day there, I hardly ever saw my nurse, just my aid who told me I could go home as long as I showed I could pee. I have been going to the womens Avenue center for the duration of my pregnancy. On February 6th I went into labor and had my baby at LDS hospital February 7th. It was an AMAZING experience. Doctor Chelsea Mutscheller is a ROCKSTAR. She made me feel as if I was her only patient and checked in on me frequently. She is very knowledgeable and knows what is best for you and baby. Will definitely be coming back to her for future pregnancies etc.
