I was a patient at L & M hospital recently. I was first brought to floor #4 and was a patient in the throne room. After several days I was moved up to the 6th floor. I want to thank everyone for the great care I received from every shift and on both floors. I also want to thank the IV team who removed a great deal of anxiety and fears because of my small veins. My problem with Lawrence and Memorial Hospital is their lack of care for working poor. I was basically thrown out of the hospital after I admitted I would struggle with the 20 % of payment that Tricare would not pay. I was ignored and almost not fed. If I should become worse I fully intend to bring a law suit against this hospital .I have explained my situation on Facebook. I sincerely hope it goes viral. I was released with high blood pressure, throwing up and with a severe migraine. I was admitted on Tuesday with low blood... read more

It's sad when you where born here, delivered two healthy babies. Then when you have a miscarriage they have no support groups. I was advised to try a different hospital. I wish they gave support to parents coping with a loss.
