This facility is so patient oriented. If you or your loved ones want to treated with respect and caring this is the place to get it. I found the nursing respiratory and rehab therapy to be outstanding and so positive. They promote freedom and independence. It is a beautiful place for certain and so are all the staff and doctors.

Horrible ER with rude nursing staff. Left my family member alone for more than 4 hours in a freezing room with no food or water or blankets. Nurses would make condescending remarks when we would complain or try to find out why no one was tending to her.

Would give -0 if I could this place is horrible went in with my 6 yr old son who had been sick with a fever of 103 and vomiting threw up twice while in the ER. We were there for 3hrs and they hadn't done anything aside from taking his temp incorrectly, weigh him and get his height!! My son was so hot and red from the fever and this idiot said he didn't have a fever bitch really I have a thermometer in my purse you want me to show you how to use one?!! The complete lack of care and explanation for any diagnosis or medication given to me while I stayed here grossly violated my rights as a patient. I picked up my records, it stated (in short) that I understood what was happening to me; this is completely erroneous and a blatant lie. No one clearly explained what was wrong with me, benefits of treatment, or alternatives. I never spoke to a Dr at the main hospital. During my stay at Highlands for stroke recovery, I was very pleased with the attentiveness and my progression. The Regab therapists were amazing and I would definitely recommend this facility to friends. Physical therapist Eric is the best inbest In his fieldfield and Iccupational therapist Jennifer is an amazing blessing and is the best in her fieldfield. Dr. Wakeham is thorough, attentive and caring. She actually listens to her patient’s concerns. I miss her dearly.
