Fun and Food – Friendly folks, great food (especially the burgers!), and good cold beer. What better place to spend an aftrenoon?
Nothing beats a greasy burger – I don't eat too many burgers, but this place makes the best in town. They've got just the right amounts of condiments, grease, and griddle flavor. I especially like them after sleeping in on Sundays. Try their daily specials too--I've never been disappointed.
Great little hole' in the wall – The Burgers are great but if you havn't tried the Chicken Fried steak on Thursdays you don;t know what you're missing. What a great little Houston Secret.
Heaven: Burger & Shiner – Hot fries, juicy hamburger and ice cold shiner, that's what I'm talking about! I headed to this hole-in-the-wall after reading about it on this site and wasn't disappointed. Really quite a good hamburger and within easy access from downtown. The place is a real joint complete with garage doors so don't expect the ambiance of a fine restaurant. Great hangout for a drink and conversation.
It really IS the best burger – Have been several times and have never been disappointed. It really is the best hamburger I have had anywhere. The challenge is to find a level table.
best damn hamburger in houston – This is a great hamburger place. Also, they have great Taco's and Hot Sauce that is out of this world. Home made chips too. The other food is very good also. teebird
Best Burgers around. – Sonic; McDonalds; Dairy Queen; Best burgers around wouldn't eat anywhere else.
Don't judge a book by it's cover. – Parking is not the best. (Like that's new in Houston!) But the food is well worth what they charge. Especially during the week when it's not too busy.
Old time – Great burgers and love the funky decor. This is a real old timey place with great old timey hamburgers. The service is always good.....and save room for dessert.
