Such a Houston classic!! Delicious.
Besides the service being really good, for our first time being there, we were very happy that we finally stopped by. We had a firehouse burger and a BLT with curly fried and fried bottlecap jalapeños. It was perfectly made and flavorful. The menu isn't huge, but that's ok because sometimes large menus are overwhelming. If you're looking for burgers or sandwiches, this is a great place!
Service was good but food was not what I was expecting. My burger was very dry and my wife’s chicken sandwich was super dry. Habanero mustard lacks spice. Brioche buns were not even brioche. Won’t be coming back ever!!!
Visited on a Sunday around noon; was able to park on the street. Came for burgers and also we had found they serve fried green tomatoes, which are a favorite of my wife's. Burgers (Red White and Blue, and Bacon Cheeseburger) were juicy and very satisfying, and french fries and fried green tomatoes also were excellent. Staffers were welcoming and it was a pleasant enviornment seeing positive interactions seeing staffers with other customers, including us on our first visit. We love it here!
