Lankford was reccomended to me by a client and it fit the bill perfectly. Quaint, quick and good.
Eat where the cops and painters eat – I lived in the Montrose for years and this was easily my favorite breakfast place. Just sneak over the line into the Ward and you're in for one of Houston's undiscovered treats. Breakfast is great--I've never made it for lunch--and always felt like I was sitting in mom's kitchen.
If your taking early lunch... – We love this place! But you have to get there early.
10!! – I am on a Burgerquest and am in search of the best burger in town. So far Lankford's is the best I've had in Houston, let alone the rest of the country on all of my travels.
fabulous find – Try this unique find for a fun and delicious meal. Locals rub elbows with movers and shakers...all are equal here and come with a single mission: scarfing up the best burger in town. They are made to order, big and messy. Good daily specials also. Stop by and say "Hi" to Edie and crew. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT ever mention bowling. You're in dangerous territory!
FED UP – We are tired of you standing over us while we try to finish our enchiladas. It used to be a pleasure to scrape the remnants of cheese, onion and heavenly gravy from our blue plate special. Now I feel the hair standing up on my neck that you're breathing down, impatient for a table. If my mama cooked that good, I'd visit her more often. 10 – Home of the best burger in town, Lankford is also unbeatable for its onion rings and its breakfast.
great produce! – Really fresh produce and good cuts of meat. The selection is pretty broad for a smaller grocery store.
Much Too Nice – I don't know how they do it and I don't ask any questions. I just sit down and order that CHEESEBURGER!!!!
