Character breakfast experience is awesome. Food is average.
If you have a sweet tooth bit can't stand the Hawaiian shaved ice visit the teeny place for frozen yoghurt , at $6 it's not too bad of a deal, you don't need to be a teenager to like frozen yoghurt!
A real good place for a late night live music with coffee is upstairs. Get a refillable coffee cup and sit on the far right (at the entrance) to oversee the music & pools
Wondering about the wood like beams? Knock on them, they are hollow , I suspect they are decorated roof drains
Don't miss the "Aulani Starlit hui" great family show in the evening! Earlier in the evening "uncle" is by the firepit telling stories & playing his Ukulele
The Aulani Starlit Hui was fantastic great singing and dancing
Go off site or bring own food the food is spendy and the service poor
Food at the restaurants at the other hotels is lesser expensive with often the same view so spice up your stay and take a walk over the trail even if only to see all the pineapple trees
