Following the trail besides the ocean to the harbor is about 2.5 miles, stack 2 of them for 5 miles, beats running next to the road. Not too busy in the morning.
Swimming with the fish at the Rainbow Reef is a must!
Lagoon hop by swimming across Aulani's, then walk across the grassy area to the next. Swim, walk, etc. Great workout and lots of fun!
If you pay for the Rainbow Reef snorkel gear, you also get free use of snorkel gear at the beach.
Be sure to try Rip Swirl yogurt bar in the teen spa. It's really good frozen yogurt and great toppings. :)
At the Conservation Pool, guests can pay to feed and pet gentle rays.
Look the place is beautiful and the staff is great. Location is tops. But remember this is not WDW. Plan things to do, and save money by doing it without going through Aulani. Hiking is almost free :)
Watch out for Hulu Hulu reservations. It took 3 hours of my time to have them refund a trip i never signed up for. They never even called me to tell me about it. Or gave me tickets. Check your bill!!!
Island store is across street at stop sign before entering Aulani. It is ABC franchise shop. Save money and get your food otems here, and they have a fresh deli with salads made on the spot. Save $$$
