Have two rods with broken tips. Tried asking if they would honor the warranty no reply back. My Shakespeare outlasted the lamiglas for half the price.
I just got the X11 9.6foot for fishing Perch in the surf on the Central Coast in Cali. I have an vintage Penn 710z reel on it. What a joy it is to cast and I can feel every little thing. Love the bent pole when reeling in a big toad!! Wish I had bought a Lami-Glas years ago!

Such awesome saltwater halibut rods and also the triflex series are awesome for bottom bouncing jigs for the ling cod, rock fish and Halibut! I've tested a lot of rods and I love my rods I use!
