Got Lower Anterior Resection done 2 months back by Dr. Lakshman. He is is a great surgeon. Very straightforward and nice person. He is very approachable and responsive. Dr. Lakshman is indeed the BEST Colon & Rectal Surgeon there is. If you are facing this type surgery, this is your doctor. HE is outstanding, has great bedside manners, explains things in a down to earth way so easy to understand. I had my surgery on 2/6/18 at North Austin Medical Center (what a great facility with the most caring staff) and am so pleased with how everything went. Thank you again Dr. Lakshman!

Dr. Lakshman was my surgeon for the removal of a rectal tumor using the davinci system. At every appointment he was very thorough in explaining my condition and the steps I would be going through to get disease/cancer free. I never felt rushed when asking questions and his staff was always quick to reply to my calls. I would recommend Dr. Lakshman to anyone who needs colon or rectal surgery.
