Got Lower Anterior Resection done 2 months back by Dr. Lakshman. He is is a great surgeon. Very straightforward and nice person. He is very approachable and responsive. I was getting responses within 30 minutes for any questions I had for him pre-surgery. Surgery and recovery process was much quicker and smoother than I expected. Thanks Doc.
Dr. Lakshman is indeed the BEST Colon & Rectal Surgeon there is. If you are facing this type surgery, this is your doctor. HE is outstanding, has great bedside manners, explains things in a down to earth way so easy to understand. I had my surgery on 2/6/18 at North Austin Medical Center (what a great facility with the most caring staff) and am so pleased with how everything went. Thank you again Dr. Lakshman!
Dr. Lakshman is a fantastic doctor. He explained every step of my surgery prior to going into the hospital so there were no surprises. He listened to all of my concerns and patiently answered my questions.
Dr. Lakshman and his assistant Christina are very very professional, caring providers. Dr. Lakshman explained in detail my medical condition and what to expect after surgery. Also has an excellent bedside manner! I highly recommend Dr. Lakshman.
Dr. Lakshman was my surgeon for the removal of a rectal tumor using the davinci system. At every appointment he was very thorough in explaining my condition and the steps I would be going through to get disease/cancer free. I never felt rushed when asking questions and his staff was always quick to reply to my calls. I would recommend Dr. Lakshman to anyone who needs colon or rectal surgery.
