Our dog Nori LOVES Lakewood animal hospital. Everyone take such good care of her. Nori was in another animal hospital with an immune disorder and they kept saying she would need more tests and more hospital stays that already totaled over $5000. We decided to try Lakewood for a second opinion and now 2 months out Nori is off all meds and doing great. We can not thank Lakewood doctors and staff for everything they have done. We won’t take Nori anywhere else!!!!
Dr Miller and his staff are all amazing caring people! Stacey and Becky took great care of my American Bully, Luna, when I brought her in for her prenatal exam and her recheck/rads exam. Always a wonderful experience there!
Staff was very friendly, and treated my puppy with the utmost care. The nurse who took my dog seemed to be very knowledgeable about my breed of dog. overall pleasant experience 5/5
Took my litter of 8 English Springer Spaniel puppies here today for their dewclaw removal and tail docking, Dr. Carter was excellent! He let me know exactly what was going to happen what signs to look out for afterwards and was very thorough, he even let me know what each of my puppies were weighing in at, and listened to their hearts, looked for cleft palates, any issues with the umbilical sites, pups got the all clear! Thank you Dr. Carter for taking the absolute best care of my babies! Will be bring all future puppies her... read more
Having to let a pet go is never ever easy, but Dr. Miller and the staff made the situation hurt just a little bit less. They were beyond supportive and caring, and I appreciate that more than anything. Unfortunately, there are some vets out there that like to give you false hope just to line their pockets - Dr. Miller is not one of those vets. He genuinely cares for the well-being of the animals he treats and yesterday, that was all I could ask for.
They are all really great here. Speaking as a dog, naturally I’m not super excited to go here in general but they definitely take great care of me and keep me in super health! Tank you to everyone at Lakewood!
I think our dog Vee was suffering from cabin fever. He had his annual check up yesterday and his mood totally changed. He couldn't greet the girls at the deck quick enough. Then he went and sat still on the scale on his own. He has to meet every pet and person there, even the turtle in tank in the waiting area. From shots to nail clipping Vee loves every visit.
