Good place to see a wonderful sunset and private camping. They might need get more a shower area.

We love it when folks take the time out to review the park online. We take all comments to heart. Our park is a bit older and some of the restrooms do not have showers. We are aware of the inconvenience this might cause, especially on a busy holiday weekend. You will see some major improvements to the park and its infrastructure over the next couple of years so come back and check us out again and we think you will be pleased with the improvements.

We went for Memorial Weekend and I was hesitant due to the weather being so unpredictable. I called Friday prior to our arrival spoke to Angela who told me all she knew regarding the lake levels, the muddiness and lack of good fishing right now. We got there on Saturday and found the staff and cleanest We ended up only staying less than 24 hours due to the weather getting worse and when we checked out- our fees were refunded for the balance of the stay I reserved and our admission fees as well.
