The Earth day celebration and the March for Science was a terrific experience at Lake Eola. I was very surprised by the vegan food offerings. It all smelled so good, but we settled on tamales and sweet corn. We will definitely visit again. There were a considerable number of interesting restaurants in the area that I would like to try.
I haven't been to Lake Eola Park in a very long time. It's super well kept and there have been many improvements since my last trip. I can imagine how lovely it would be on a day when there aren't quite so many people around.
We had a very enjoyable afternoon but I was a little disappointed that Earth Day was used for vendors to make money instead of having more activities associated with taking care of Mother Earth and teaching our children ways to do so.
One of my favorite places in Orlando to run at dusk or go to the market Sunday mornings
Such a beautiful and magical place of you have never been there you really should it's just perfect the water the ducks the friendships you can feel the love!
I love being here, never gets old I come here to release and relax. I enjoy being in and around nature, the animals here are mind blowing
Lake Eola is a beautiful park and one of my favorite places to go for ,me time,family time and quality time.I can visit the park anytime of the night or day and feel safe.Meeting people of different nationalities is fun.I visit the park at least once a week.
We had a great time there today, but as you can see by my rating, im terribly disappointed not just in Lake Eola, but by all those profiting from Earth Day. Despite garbage being all over this lakes shore line. Between the long walls where all the homeless sleep and the Rainbow theater there was one spot alone which easily had 5 bags if trash clumped along it. Its my place of ZEN! I enjoy the environment and atmosphere and look forward to a few laps around the lake to simply unwind and forget about the days frustrations. Definitely MY SPOT!
