I loved getting a picnic and wine at publix and having it on the swan boat
The lake is in the heart of Orlando. It has a nice view and a park with flowers to color the beauty of the city. I love this place and will definitely take my friends here.

Yesterday 5/13/17 was my first day going to this park. I went to see the monuments, there is so much history that can be learned from these monuments. I plan on bringing my children back here to learn about all the monuments. I honestly feel that ALL schools should use this park as a part of learning true history. To actually see a monument up close, (not in a book) to touch a statue, or take a picture with one that has been standing since 1917 - what an honor. If you're in Downtown Orlando this Lake is a must see, especially at night.
Our family, new to area, there for first time and was very impressed. It was a, beautiful clean park, with clean convenient restrooms , a pretty lake with swans and other birds, turtles. etc. There was a lovely farmers market with tons of delicious food venders, arts and crafts. We had a most enjoyable day. Parked at a really nice guy, Stu, parking lot for $4. A great experience all the way around!
