I am actually still sitting at LaFontaine Subaru...no longer have appointments for oil change and take over 2 hours!!!! Why did I come back here?!?!?!
This was by far the best car buying experience my husband and I have had. Mike our salesman and Jon the sales manager made buying my first Subaru so easy and a very enjoyable experience. Mike listened to what I wanted in a car and found me one that had everything I wanted and then some. I am so very happy with my Forester and the time we spent at this dealership. Wish I could give zero stars...LaFontaine sold my parents a brand new Subaru Forrester with horrible tires. Subaru advertises their cars as being safe with exemplary performance in the snow, yet we’ve been sliding all over the roads. Apparently, LaFontaine and Subaru don’t stand by the products they sell or the image they advertise.
my service guy wouldn't warranty a defective OEM GM part on a 17 gmc Denali Ultimate with 23,000 miles on it because the truck was dirty!? Wanted me to pay out of pocket when I have bumper to bumper coverage on a $60k truck. Save yourself the hassle go to Sellers in Farmington/novi or Champion in Brighton or you'll sit around all morning with no result and the feeling that you got scammed.
Bought a 2013 Buick Encore car for my wife 10 months ago with 51,000 that was supposed to be "Inspected" and everything is tested and works to find out now 10,000 miles later that Oil Pan leaks, Water pump is leaking coolant and my turbo charge is leaking oil that is not covered under the Easy Care "bumper to bumper" warranty that they sold me nor the GM Warranty. This is all BS. Never buy a GM car from a non GM certified dealership like Lafontaine.
I had a great "buying experience." My sales rep, Kathy Chapman, is amazing. She went out of her way to ensure I had everything I needed. And I LOVE my new 2018 Outback. Nothing beats that new car smell :)
My third Outback purchase from Kathy Chapman and her friends. Very pleased with the car and the dealership in general.
