I am extremely disappointed with the conduct of LA Solar Group, Inc. . Despite completing jobs three months ago totaling $27,000, they have failed to honor their payment obligation without providing any explanation. This lack of accountability reflects poorly on the company's integrity and professionalism.Regrettably, I am now compelled to pursue legal action, including placing a lien on their property. Warning: Do NOT use LA Solar for Powerwall installation - borderline criminal behavior tantamount to blackmail against our lives. I urgently caution against engaging with this company. Their actions border on criminal. After charging nearly $18,000, they took almost an entire year to install one Powerwall. 1 star is too generous for LA Solar Group, but I can't submit without this minimal selection.Scheduling a simple replacement install has been months in the making - with scheduling promises broken or left unconfirmed (technicians show up to a locked gate with dogs without my confirmation of date or time). **************** is non-existent. I have been trying to get my solar system on line for months now.** Solar kept tell me that I would get the permission to operate(PTO) from SCE and day. this went on for months. I am a licensed contractor and followed the install from day one. While the install looked great I knew something was not right. I finally got my PTO from SCE on June 27th. I WAS A PREVIOUSLY HAPPY CUSTOMER when LA ********************** installed my 330W ********* system using a SolarEdge 6K optimizer about 4 years ago. Before I signed, I was told by my salesperson **** (no longer there) that I could add on ********* panels at any time, and that the optimzer could handle the additions. I asked for a quote to add 2 panels in April, they said they do not sell ********* or any other brand for add ons and their policy is to only use their own brand of Black on Black panels for additions. Started our solar process in January of 2022 here we are now in March of 2023 & we dont have anything. Multiple inspections done & they have failed them! Weve had no contact from them in months & notes on our door from the local inspector saying they have not paid. Can never get in contact with anyone from their customer service. My father who is an electrician said all of the work they did is not up to code & needs to be replaced. DO NOT GO WITH LA SOLAR GROUP!
I purchase Solar panels with LA Sola on 2020 I was offered 100% energy efficiency and didn’t happen. I contact LA Solar about my TrueUp being over $2500 one year and over $4000 this year. Their response was we will Reimburse all the money. Then they disagree to reimburse. Instead they offered to install two other panel’s prevent an extra TrueUp expenses, I didn’t see a problem with that but they won’t reimburse the TrueUp money that I’m still paying for 2021 not including the $4500 plus for 2022. I got on this website to compare Solar companies . I settled on LA Solar, I was certain because of their supposed size they were an efficient well operated company. In July I decided to move forward with them. I signed contract #1 , an inspector came out , then I was contacted that everything looked good good and they were going to submit the plans/permit.
