Would rate this 0 out of 10 but wont let me. This place is a complete scam. Be careful when signing up for anything at this branch. I signed up for a membership and was spoken to about personal training. They should be the month charge and sessions. I informed them I could not afford that price and i was told they could give me the month for discounted price to try. I agreed to give it a shot. NEVER WAS TOLD IT WAS 12 MONTH CONTRACT. We pay for a member ship to use the facilities. Then they sublease out the areas like the pool witch in return block our access to the areas are membership is paying to use

This health club is awful. I have been 9 personal training sessions and cannot get an appointment because they only have master trainers and my sessions are for a trainer. Also, the equipment is often in disrepair and the hot tub and pool are closed frequently. I've called the corporate office about this issue and was told that I would hear back from them by Thursday of last week, Friday at the latest. Here it is Monday and nothing but crickets. They need to be closed.

This business is negligent and non-compliant with typical client safety practices. Their stretch partners straps are broken and the machine is located in front of a bar. Highly likely someone falls off of this because the safety mechanism(the strap) is broken and they will hit their head. Reported this to the front desk and she said it would have to wait until her manager is in on Monday. I asked her to at least put a sign and she said theres nothing she can do. I called to cancel on the phone and the representative said they would cancel it for me. Several months later, I checked my credit card and still saw my membership fee charged monthly. When I went to the office in person, they refused to give me the refund saying I lacked evidence. I told them to check the call history, and they said they don't have it far back.

I went in to cancel my membership. Front desk lady says to come in when her manager is there. I said im leaving at 3am after work as im up here for work and just found out i was being relocated. She said i could call and they would take care of it. I called as instructed and the manager said to come in to cancel it. I am 250 miles away and cannot do that. The sauna has been out of service for 2 months and seems like they are not trying to fix it at all. I became a member at la fitness because of the sauna.

LA fitness has been trying to go around our contract for a very long time. I have been at this for years now. I became total and permanently disabled in 2020 because of an injury that I got in the military. I finally got an answer on what to do and I sent proof of everything to corporate, including my husbands disability and proof that we moved out of state, but even with that proof, it's still not working. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS GYM. Management and staff are a revolving door. Front desk representative was not only rude and disrespectful, but incompetent. I found out I was being charged membership fees 6 TIMES/month for almost 2 years!!! And apparently this is something their sales people do to boost their sales. They just tack on additional memberships to unsuspecting accounts to get their commission and hope that nobody notices that this company is STEALING from people!!
