DON'T BELIEVE LA Fitness HAS PROCESSED YOUR CANCELLATION UNTIL YOU HAVE WRITTEN PROOF. In April of 2018 my husband and I moved from ******* to ********. In May 2018 we called to cancel my husband's $29.99 membership (no locations in this area). They said no problem and we didn't think about it again. Incredible lack of customer service, outright misrepresentation and then, after explaining and showing them what had taken place, their solution or offer was to charge us even more than the original double charge they attempted.I have the paper trail, the hard evidence and details of what they then attempted to do. They never believed what we told them, they did not want to see that which was sent to us by their representative and their solution was to have us pay more or just have us go away.We obviously wanted to be member... read more

I am totally frustrated with the way my personal training sessions has been handled. On joining LA Fitness in 2019, I was assured by the Manager that they would give me someone who had the knowledge dealing with clients who had Arthritis issues. At the time of signing up for those sessions, I had to agree that I would pay for a full year which was the policy of Personal training sessions. Talk about having car sales charge at you! This place sweet talks you into signing in, but when you think its a done deal *********** steps up to the plate by sliding into the picture. Before you know it, what was suppose to be $24.99 is $699.00. I'm stuck and screwed.

The Signature on *************************, *****, **:It is frequently running out of towels they told me on August 23, 2021 that the washer was broken. I asked the guy, so you only have one washer?.On Saturday, August 14, there was a guy in the stepper with 2 long towels and 2 small towels The number of towels by member should be limited to one of each, otherwise, do not guarantee towels when enrolling a new member. Do not sign up with LA Fitness, they will charge you an annual fee even when the gym is closed due to the pandemic and you do not actually use it for one year. They also unfreeze your account and keep charging your credit card and when it declines they charge you a fee for every attempt, and they keep ringing it up to boost the amount of money they make from the declined card. They will cancel the account without paying off the fee so they just keep stealing money until you can pay it or go into bankruptcy. Local club manage... read more

I'm writing in regard to the location in **************** from which my daughter and her friend had items stolen from their locker with most likely bolt cutters. Upon informing the workers at the front desk, one remarked that theft like this had been happening lately. When my daughter entered, if she had been informed of this, she would not have left items in a locker. Because no one cared enough or had enough common sense to inform her of this, cars had to be towed and will need to be re-keyed as well as residential locks. ... read more

I recently moved to ***** from Georgia. The area in which I live(**************) does not have any clubs. Prior to moving I started a pre paid year long membership. When asking if I could freeze it until I was in range of a club, I was told no. Now roughly 6 months later, I am getting automated emails to restart my membership. You cant reply to the emails and there is no where to unsubscribe. That is criminal for a corporation such as LA Fitness. Please help!
