My issue with LA Fitness I signed up for a 6 month term. 6 months. I was asked to pay first and last month fees ok no problem. I didn't go to the gym. I was going to try and go the next month. I got charged for tget month. Sure no problem. Then I got charged annual fee. Now help me out 6 months is not a year. I sent a message asking for my money back and to end my membership. On 11/13/2021 at about 4:15pm, I was threatened in the lockerroom, as an lgbtq hate crime. I went into the lockerroom to change after work and when I entered there were three men arguing pretty loudly. It went on the entire time I was changing. I joined LA Fitness in *********** when the gym first opened. I have been a faithful customer and even invested in a personal trainer. When gyms reopened with Covid requirements, I returned. This time I brought my daughter and paid for a trainer. There was one part-time trainer with only three appointments available. Those appointments were during school hours. Sleazy, outdated, bait and switch sales tactics... My wife and I were excited and ****% ready to sign up, but first we wanted to see the gym and experience a workout to get a feel for the vibe. One time would have been fine. Nope. They wouldn't honor the 3 day passes we printed directly from their site. Keep in mind they spam called me almost every day for 2 weeks prior asking me when I'd like to activate my pass. WTF? Hello. My name is ***********************. I have attended the facility on forest lane. Recently Ive been have back injuries as well as a stroke. I had a personal trainer as that I wasnt able to get with because of that. I called and spoke with **** as he has called me back with expediency. To rectify my issue. I give him 5 stars. Im very satisfied with LA Fitness. Thank you very much.
I have the worst experience with them, as i enrolled my daughter with Personal trainer and paid in advance, they never gave her the needed time we requested nor they called to reschedule and it 2 1/2 month later no one is calling me to do anything about it nor calling to refund is back for the bad service
I was at this ******* Mall ** location on Saturday 6/11 when suddenly a manager (tall guy - probably the tallest one there ) who claimed he was the manager and his name is Will profiled and stereotyped me. He says I look like a black guy who threw a mask at one of his employee. My spouse and I have been members since 2014. During the pandemic, the club was closed and we never received any notice or reminder for renewal. This past week, I received an email to renew for 1 year at $129. My spouse received no email. We both went to the club to renew. We were told that both our memberships are inactive and it would cost us $429 each to rejoin. We walked out. I renewed mine online for $129.
