Fellini's classic 1960 film La Dolce Vita, or "The Sweet Life," is the inspiration for this Little Italy restaurant. But where Fellini focuses on the alienation of modern hedonism, the restaurant of the same name wisely focuses on authentic Italian food. Much of the menu is based around daily specials of fish, risotto and pasta, among other things. More permanent entrées include polo pomodoro, chicken in white wine with tomatoes, garlic and feta cheese; or vitelo di Verona, with veal topped by tomatoes, artichokes and... read more

I love their fried mozzarella. And even though it is no longer on their menu, the manager asked the chefs to prepare it with what they had. Fabulous service every time Im there. Lifelong customer for sure.
Great food and great waiter. We were delighted to learn we were there on opera night and the opera performance was wonderful. First time there...can't wait to go back!
Wonderful Little Italy gem. Food was delicious. Service friendly and attentive.
Ossobucco special was great tasting! Eggplant parmagianna thinly sliced and well prepared.
My husband had the chicken saltinbocca, and he said it lived up to the " jump in your mouth" translation! This is such a wonderful gem of an eatery. We have eaten in some of the best Italian restaurants in NY City, there food is just as wonderful. We look forwards to our next meal there when we return to Cleveland.
We sat outside on a beautiful summer Saturday night and had a nicely served and tasteful dinner. The owner, Terry, came by our table and talked to us for quite a long time. It really was an enjoyable evening and we will be back.
Great Italian food. We sat outside and people-watched. Attentive service.
This was my first trip to this establishment, and I was not disapointed! The server was good and the food was even better! The facility doesn't have air conditioning, but who cares? It's a very old building! This place reminds me of several places I frequent when I travel to Chicago. I will definitly return here! If you haven't tried it, I recommend it! Very good in all respects! The food is very authentic and delicious.
I was in town visiting my folks and they took me here. Coming from California where good restaurants and food are available as running water, I had some skepticism when they said it was one of the best. And they were right! I'm a sucker for veal, and I feel bad about it - poor baby cows - but DANG it, you're delicious! And this place makes it just the way I like it. Overall, service was excellent and surprisingly not too pricey, even though my parents were the ones that footed the bill.
