The lightest gnocchi each rolled by hand just hours earlier. Rick and Alice LaFleur I've lived in Athens 39 years, and seen Italian restaurants come and go. LA DOLCE VITA is, I hope, here to stay; chef Stefano is a master, the surroundings are at once elegant and relaxed, and the cuisine and wine-list superb. The 2nd-floor location overlooking Broad Street and across toward the UGA campus is another attraction.

Great Italian in Athens – Have eaten there several times over last few months, and it's always a treat. The pasta with salmon, caviar and vodka cream sauce is outstanding. Was disappointed on one visit that food was very salty. Also noticed a change in management of late and slight drop in service. The former owner now has a meatball diner on Hawthorne called Totonno's that is outstanding!
