Molto bene! I have lived in Athens for two years now and just now found this place. I have been looking for good Italian food and everything else in Athens doesn't even come close to touching La Dolce Vita. After asking around about it before attending, I kept hearing about the lasagna, so I gave it a shot. Incredible. A little peace of Italy This restaraunt's most noticable feature is that it on the second floor. This allows for a much higher level of tranquility and peace in an Italian setting. This is not the type of Italian restaraunt that you go to in order to get a meal that is more grease than food, or a place to stuff yourself for a cheap price. Rick and Alice LaFleur I've lived in Athens 39 years, and seen Italian restaurants come and go. LA DOLCE VITA is, I hope, here to stay; chef Stefano is a master, the surroundings are at once elegant and relaxed, and the cuisine and wine-list superb. The 2nd-floor location overlooking Broad Street and across toward the UGA campus is another attraction.
RecommendedWe were driving North and decided to stay in Athens Ga. We walked around town and decided to eat at this restaurant! We were not only pleased with our food selection that was made to order, but the owners came out to make sure we were pleased. We wanted to order a bottle of prosecco but we were concerned it may be to sweet. We were offered a taste and we loved it. We look forward to our return visit and highly recommend this great establishment!

So my friends and I came in last night before our formal and as I also work in the food business, I was appalled by the service we received. Because nobody could pronounce the names of the food, we all pointed to what we wanted. When the wrong food was brought out to me, our waiter told me that “I ordered it” and didn’t offer to get me something else. He also only refilled our waters once the entire time we were there. Not looking forward to going back there.
