Muy bueno! – Real, authentic mexican. Inexpensive and delicious! Forget about Esparza's or Chevy's or Taco Del Mar or any of that other totally fake, Americanized slop.
Big Burritos, Little Price – This taqueria has fast service, low prices and delicious food. A great value for the money with huge amounts of food! The service is polite although can be slow when it's busy. I recommend take out, not dine in.
The Bomb – Oh My GOD! These Are the best burritos ever. I moved across town and now I live down the block from La Sirenita. If my stomach could take it, I would be there every day. SOFT TOSTADA, TACO AL PASTOR! I hope they never move.
best deals – this tiny taqueria has the best burrito for your dollar. I highly recommend the soft tostada with black beans for $2.25. Must have an appitate for these filling and tasty treats. Great people watching in or outside. Quick service and Freddy, who takes orders for luch is very friendly. Tends to get bussy for lunch and dinner, so expect a line.
Everything under $5 – AND...it some of the best food in town. The cool ambiance and low prices won't last forever. This neighborhood is changing super fast. So, do youself a favor and get in there ASAP....I've tried it all...and like it all...but I like the Chicken Chimichanga best of all.
Chile relleno burrito – La Sirenita's chile relleno burrito is the best! I've never tried anything else there because I love it so much. For less than 5 bucks, you just can't beat it. The place is a total dive, so get it to go. Be prepared for a wait, though--it's always busy.
