Wife & I just bought a 2012 Prius II from LA Auto Exchange, and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The associate, Steven, answered all of our questions, gave us time to discuss privately, and was completely understanding about our toddler climbing all over his office. He explained everything thoroughly and we left with a great deal.
The good reviews outweigh the bad reviews. Who takes the time to complain about a wait time? Focus on the big picture. Their prices are below market, they have a variety of selection, and their customer service is great. I went in not knowing what kind of car I wanted (I'm very indecisive). Freddy and Chris were very patient and showed me around. I was assured by Chris that if I had any issues he would personally take care of it. He made my overall experience great.
