dr liao was very knowledgable & professional. the staff was as well. the space is clean & inviting. my exam took a little over an hour (& thats w/ that horrible retina exam where they dilate youre pupils w/ those horrible drops) im glad i came here & i will return !
I got my eyes checked for a contact lens prescription today. I was able to get a same-day appointment, which was amazing. Dr. Liao was super friendly and professional, and she understood my needs perfectly. My check-up was really easy, and she answered all of my questions. Her support staff was also very friendly and helpful. The office overall was clean and well organized. This is a thank you. L.A. Vision Optometry was helpful, relaxing and professional. I'll also say that I agree with the other reviews that the waiting area is nicely done. , I sat on my expensive splurge sunglasses and bent them. Feeling stupid, I walked in and asked them if they could fix them. They were cool about the whole thing and fixed them quickly. Note: They did warn me that bending the metal frames may break them. I took the risk.
I saw Wicked and realized I needed glasses when everything was pretty much a blur. I tried on my GFs glasses and it was SOOO much better. It was like watching TV in HD. So... I wanted to go to a place close to home so I found LA Vision Optometry. Broadway is kinda GHETTO but just make sure you look fools straight in the eyes and you'll be good. After years of bearing the headache and eye pain, I finally decided to get a pair of eyeglasses. My friend recommended me this place to get my first pair of eyeglasses. Good thing that I did because, they were on sale, I got a nice pair of Emporio Armani frame.Awesomeness! The optometrist and staff were friendly and very eager to help me find the frame that best suit my face structure. The examination I had was over by 10 minutes. Very fast indeed.
I'm from NY and have come to LA for business for 2 weeks. And like an idiot I grabbed the wrong contact lens container...the empty one. So I needed to get a quick box. I called and spoke to Lucy which was very sweet and helpful. Told me to have my doctor/optometrist in NY to fax over my prescription. And Voila!!! I asked my very trusted optometrist how much a box of my contacts should cost...he told me between $35-$50. And they charged me $38!!!
