We had an absolutely terrible experience at this location last night. Kyuramen has become the go-to ramen location for my girlfriend and I ever since we discovered it together. Usually, it's a great experience, but not last night. We entered around 8:40pm, after checking that they were open until 10pm. When we entered, however, all of the chairs were placed on the tables, and the staff had already begun mopping, leading us to believe that perhaps they had closed early for some reason. The service was wonderful & the interior is cool, but they had *insanely loud* fans inside when I visited. Hopefully that was a temporary thing, it was hard to talk. The food was ok.
Went here for lunch and it was pretty good. Food was great and good vibes, but kind of loud. One thing I would complain is that, we wanted the seating in the honeycomb, but the host said it was only for reservations. Why have the area, but make it only for reservations? I also didn't see anywhere on the website about reserving those tables.
The omurice was really good. The flavor was delicious and the porkcutlet was cooked to perfection. Two others got their ramen and they said it was good, but not overly impressive. Prices were a little high, but some of the meals, like the omurice, included a specialty drink. Service wasn't terrible, but they didn't ask us if it was our first visit or anything.
