When you complete an online order the website states The driver will contact when they arrive. BUT they don't!! When you talk to a customer service representative they tell you that the driver doesn't have the capability to contact the customer. Then why have a false statement on the website?They also told me that the driver doesn't have to actually hand the bags to the customer. They can leave the bags on the filthy ground. I tried 2 times to use Kroger Booster and was accepted. The company keep sharing this with me on how I can use the membership. Now I am 70 years of age and really do not understand what the company share with me by email. So I filed to withdraw of Booster membership. They agreed to cancel my membership and refuse to sent me the $59 application fee. This person said I have to keep with Booster until June 9, 2024. I sent payment on June 9, 2023. Over the weekend, I made a purchase through the app in the amount of 66.04 on 6/24/23. Then on 6/26/23, I received an email that my delivery order purchase total had been increased to 132.08. when I opted to use the live chat for help, it kept looping to select the order and select the issue. I'm 71 years and just sat down on the steps in the 3CDC lobby at your downtown Cincinnati before going inside your store to buy things and was immediately ordered by a security guard to get up. Told him I needed to catch my breath, but he ordered me up. Pretty rude, he saw me breathing hard, and I am not sure Kroger even has authority in the lobby. I switched from ******** delivery to Boost Delivery to try and get fresher produce ( the only thing I was unhappy with at ********) I ordered groceries weekly using Boost and every single time, there were issues, absorbent overcharging, ridiculous substitutions and overall terrible, terrible service. They're gonna just take your money.....My card was not approved twice before the person at the register said the whole country is having problems...while later the manager says it's a Kroger issue, not the whole country. Ran my card twice, wasn't approved....got to my car, without my purchase, and my bank says money was taken out of my account both times. Do not use kroger delivery app you might fall victim to fraudulent charges on Your card and they do absolutely nothing to help you other then give you a case number and send you on your way
6/10/2023 Order was to be delivered to my 92 year old mother in The ********** TX (at a senior facility). I was Charged for the order that was never delivered. Kroger Chat and Kroger Customer Service absolutely no help. The driver phone number listed on the notification was a number that doesn’t accept incoming calls. There is no way to track the online order, no way to contact the third-party delivery company Shipt, and no way to escalate a problem at Kroger.
