Krakatoa is a unique coffeehouse and restaurant created in a beautiful repurposed Craftsman house in Golden Hill. We have delicious sandwiches, bagels, smoothies, salads and are well-known for our famous potato salad. At Krakatoa, we bake all our own colossal homestyle pastries including muffins, brownies, cookies and cakes. Great little place. Friendly service. Definitely felt like I was back on Oahu. I had the macadamia nut latte and it was perfection! I could have swam in it! 💞 We will definitely be back.
I have been going to this place for years and it is by far one of my favorite spots in town. The staff members are amazing, the food delicious and they always accommodate any request you may have. Special thanks to Sean for going above and beyond every time I have a request 🙌🏻👊🏻
Nice little coffee house. Prices are reasonable and a lot cheaper than Starbucks.

First time at this awesome coffee shop. I'm currently in the middle of writing a book. And I spend a bit of time at different coffee houses while writing. This place has great atmosphere the coffee was outstanding and I look forward to going back and trying the food which looked very good. Friendly staff
