Dr. Flippo is compassionate and thorough. I never doubt that she has the best plan and treatment for me. She answers questions and makes sure I understand. Her diligent care and ability to understand my fears or worries has made all the difference and helped me get through treatment . She has a great team who are also caring and efficient. My family and I are so thankful she is my doctor. I always look forward to my appointments. I have recommended other family members who have also found her care to be excellent.
Dr Flippo works like she really cares. She doesnt rush. She answers all questions and cares about both physical and emotional health.
I like to say Dr Flippo saved my life! Even more important to me was when there were challenges, she was an even better collaborator with other doctors and MD Anderson. The team in the end got to the best outcome for me and my family. Will always be grateful.
Dr. Flippo is an extremely caring and attentive physician. She took the time to really listen to me and fully explain everything about my cancer and treatment. She wasn't only concerned about my physical condition but also about my psychological well being as well as this type of diagnosis can be very tramatic. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Flippo and would recommend anyone to her.
I have seen Dr. Flippo twice and each time had blood work done. I had a bone marrow biopsy on January 13. I am still waiting any results of this test. I did have an appointment with Dr. Flippo on Tuesday, January 31 but was cancelled because of the weather which I can understand. But why couldn't Dr. Flippo called me to discuss the results of this test. So, I am still trying to understand the significance of my blood work and why I need to see a blood specially doctor. Most of the appointment went well, my concern was the waiting. I waited too long, approximately 45 minutes, in the exam room before I was seen by Dr Flippo.
