Specific and factual but with a genuine understanding of personal attention. Makes one feel very comfortable and confident being one of her patients.
Dr Flippo is a nice person, but just wasn’t a good fit for me. I understand that there are no guarantees either way, and I never asked for a guarantee, but when I asked for an honest discussion about “what if I do?” Vs. “what I don’t?” the first response was combative (“show me your research”). Admitted that I have a low opinion of oncology in general, but Dr Flippo confirmed my bias when I was hoping for a reason to change my mind. Dr. Flippo literally saved my life after another oncologist almost killed me due to medications prescribed.
Dr. Flippo is a caring, understanding oncologist. She never rushes an appointment. She will address all of your concerns - not just your cancer, but your whole wellbeing. I feel very lucky to have been referred to her.
Dr. Flippo very professional, answered all my questions, very through physical, ordered and explained reasons for Ultrasound of right leg, did not rush through appointment spent time making sure us comfortable and understood all we had discussed
Did not see Dr Flippo this time. It was Jaime, and his student tagalong. :) They were great. Jaime is very good and helped with my need to follow up with my Cardiologist this week. My PE problem appears to have cleared, and their analysis shows that my shortness of breath may be more in line with heart issues. Thanks a lot TEAM.
This was a 6 month check up. We talked about my Lab results and disussed my results and how things were going. Dr. Flippo is so personale and takes time with you. She makes you feel as you are her only patient.
Dr. Flippo is wonderful! She has been my doctor for 5 years and is one of my favorite health care professionals. She is kind, patient and makes sure that you understand everything about your treatment plan and ALWAYS takes the time to answer your questions or concerns. I can't imagine going through my journey with any other doctor. Thank you to her and her entire team!
The last visit was pretty basic and essentially I was told I needed to have another scan. Other areas were discussed regarding memory and physical conditional.
