I have been living in a property managed by Kohn-Ell for over 12 years now. I have spent many of those years serving on the community board. I cannot express my thankfulness for how much effort Kohn-Ell has put in on our behalf to help the community undertake improvement projects. We are an exceptionally small community and the fees Kohn-Ell charges us to mange the community are extremely low. I am shocked but again thankful how much help and attention we have received. I would highly recommend them to any community.
I have been living in this my community for a little over 2 years now. I have been skeptic about hoa companies from what I have heard about they re rules. I made a decision based totally on my family needs and brought a home. So everything was calm for awhile .. yea scary.. Then came the letters and the demands and the suggestions. Horrific! Please, please please do not hire them! You can't reach them ever and they do not enforce bylaws which in my opinion is the point of an HOA management company, they will however take your money for their fees quicker than anything.

I too have had nothing but issues dealing with them. Lack of response is an understatement to say the least. In the bi-laws it clearly states no Trailer or mobile homes are allowed and yet there is one homeowner in particular that has not one but two of them parked in his driveway. These things never move maybe 1 time a year and yet we have to feel like we're living in a trailer park. To explain, the procedures used to address alleged violations of the HOA by-laws are without equity and as a result, certain homeowners are targeted while others continue without recourse.
