The sales team seemed friendly at the start back in May when I bought my 2015 Golf TDI, but now that it's clear that VW has lied to owners and sold us an environmental nightmare, I can't get past the woman who answers the phone. Clearly the scandal isn't King's fault, but you won't feel any safer or more taken care of with them that than you could at any other dealership right now. Clearly the "don't say anything" policy that corporate has sent down from Berlin trumps customer service. Don't buy from VW. Period.
Sales associate assured me that the pulsation I felt in the brakes on the test drive was "normal". 8 months later, after several failed attempts to have the problem diagnosed at another dealer, I had a damaged caliper. Had to come out of pocket to have the repair to the brakes completed thoroughly, and remove significant pulsation from the rear that was still present after the caliper was replaced. I've dealt w Bill Buckley and service manager Jason for service on my Touareg. Both guys are top notch! They go out of their way to make sure that the customer is completely satisfied.
